Town of Greenville-Public Works Laborer/Driver/Machine Operator
The Town of Greenville is seeking applicants for a full-time, hourly Laborer/Driver/Machine Operator.
The Public Works Department provides a wide range of service functions including street maintenance, building maintenance, and landscaping maintenance, plowing and sanding and other various tasks. This is a skilled position that performs quality manual labor and operation of both light and heavy equipment. Experience in snow removal and road maintenance is preferred, but not mandatory. Applicants must be motivated with a positive attitude to work in a team environment. Our ideal candidate should also have organizational and communication skills.
The position offers a competitive wage and a comprehensive benefit package that includes health insurance, a retirement plan, vacation, holiday, and sick time. Pay will be based on experience. Overtime available as needed.
Qualified applicants must possess a valid Class B/CDL License or higher and have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Additionally, applicants must successfully complete a background check and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

Winter Roads Maintenance Contract
The Select Board of the Town of Greenville is currently seeking bids for a 3-year Winter Road Maintenance Contract Bid beginning the Fall 2024
All bids must be in writing and in a sealed envelope clearly marked with “Greenville Winter Road Maintenance Contract Bid”
All bids must be received by Friday, August 30th at 5pm.

The Town of Greenville is seeking a detailed, focused, flexible, dedicated, organized and customer-orientated Library Director. The Town of Greenville is a small community in the Moosehead Lake Region, and hosts a year-round population of 1,400 +/-, which nearly triples with summer residents. We are the hub of Moosehead Lake region.
This is a part-time position; working up to 25 hours per week.
The candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively, handle tasks, maintain a high standard for customer service, and perform all work in in accordance with applicable laws, ordinances, and Town policies.
