JOB OPENING
CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
TOWN OF GREENVILLE, ME

The Town of Greenville seeks qualified applicants for the position of full time Code Enforcement Officer. Greenville is a growing community located at the foot of Moosehead Lake with a population of 1650 which swells to more than 3500 in the summer months.

This position comes with a benefit package which includes, health insurance, medical absence pay, vacation and holiday time off and a four (4) day work week. (Tues.- Friday).

This position entails responsible administrative, technical and clerical work, enforcing the Town of Greenville’s Shoreland Zoning Ordinance and Land Use Ordinance. The job includes permitting, inspections of development projects, securing compliance with the town’s ordinances, complaint resolution and other tasks assigned. Staff assistant to the Town’s Planning Board and Board of Appeals.

The ideal candidate should have excellent computer skills, attention to detail, and must obtain municipal code enforcement certificate within twelve (12) months of hire date. A valid Motor Vehicle driver’s license is excepted as well.
